TRI-CAP provides a Case Management and Treatment Assistance Service to clients diagnosed with breast cancer. TRI-CAP Breast Cancer Program helps clients deal with the natural anxiety and confusion that occurs when diagnosed, which is compounded when experiencing treatment, dealing with insurance companies, and receiving bills for treatments. Services are provided to clients newly or recently diagnosed breast cancer whom are either underinsured or uninsured, meeting income eligibility requirements at 250% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. Thus far, for every $1 of Komen grant money paid for treatment, at least $8.48 was leveraged by other sources to assist the clients.
