Breast Cancer Services

The Breast Cancer Case Management Program provides funding for treatment and/or housing expenses for newly diagnosed breast cancer patients who meet income guidelines and who live in one of 27 counties (see below for list of counties and states).  Funding for treatment expenses is available thanks to the Susan G. Komen – Evansville Affiliate.  The Program pays treatment expenses directly to the medical provider, based on invoices from clients.  Typical payments are anywhere from $100 to $2,000 annually.  Funding for housing expenses is available thanks to the Indiana Breast Cancer Awareness Trust.   Clients who live in Indiana can get up to $1000 annually for their rent, mortgage, and/or utility expenses.

Additional services of our Breast Cancer Case Management Program include treatment education and emotional support for clients, breast health awareness to the general public, and mobile mammography opportunities via the Deaconess Mobile Mammography RV.  We are partnering with Memorial Hospital to offer affordable 3-D mammograms in 2020.
